Professional machinist and fabricator here.. Would be great for cleaning up pre existing tapered bores. However the tool steel seems fairly soft compared to others I own and only managed to ream one bore 80% of the way before failing. This was with plenty of lube and a slow and steady feed. I have other reamers that are 20+ years old and still cutting ok. This one lasted about 5 minutes. Not sure if it was an isolated incident or an issue with the brand? Not knowing I can’t in good faith recommend to those doing anything more than cleaning pre existing tapered bores. If you have to clean a knuckle great, have to ream a fresh bore? It’s a roll of the dice and your money not mine.
