Access Panel 6 x 6 Kit

Knowing what it takes to install a new DCT filter on a C8 Corvette, this access panel is a must to have to kill some time of the job, by eliminating removal of all the bolts of the under body cladding to gain access. This access panel is a simple twist of its lock feature to get to the filter.
Quality craftsmanship and at a decent price.
I did a couple of extra things to be different. I engraved ‘DCT ACCESS PANEL’ on the cover so it’s known there is quick and easy access and I also fabricated a swing safety latch just in case the panel door were to unlock or come ajar, there is a catch to hold it in place. Just me being cautious.

Finally had my access panel installed and it’s a great product to have, to allow easy access to the DCT filter. This is something GM should’ve considered to save labor costs.

Only negative feedback will be better instructions or add photos but it might add cost. Maybe a YouTube video that shows assembly or instalion process. Otherwise it's a great item. Used it for my Corvette C8 for the dct filter access.
